Congratulations to the choir students on their performance at the Tree Lighting Ceremony this past Saturday night.  Great job!!

Congratulations to the middle school swim team for coming in first in the championship meet on Saturday.  The girls came in first place with a score of 409, and the boys team took first with a score of 408. Combined the team claimed the Middle School Championship title with a score of 817. Way to go Redskins and good luck as you head to Knoxville to compete this weekend!

 FCA needs your change to help change tragedy into hope! FCA is raising money to help students and teachers in Sevier Co. who were displaced due to the recent wildfires. You can donate in the cafeteria. Just think, if everyone in the school donated just $.50 we could raise almost $1000.

The RNR Wrestling Team was victorious Saturday at the Panther Duals Tournament in Church Hill!  The undefeated Redskins will be at it again Tuesday night against "across-town" rival John Sevier Middle School and Church Hill Middle School.  This evening of wrestling will be extra special; it is called "Wrestling for Hunger," so instead of paying to get in the door, you can bring 2 cans/food items to be donated to 2nd Harvest Food Bank!  Not only will you get to watch a rival match with Sevier, you will also get to watch Dobyns-Bennett wrestle 2 matches.  We are not done yet!  You will also get to see several kids from area elementary schools wrestle too!    Wrestling begins at 6 pm with doors opening at 5 at Sevier Middle School.  See you there!!!

Jr ROTC will meet tomorrow in Mr. Smith’s room. This meeting will last until 4:30 pm. Come and enjoy the last meeting this semester and help plan activities for next Wednesday.
