RNR SUMMER BAND - With updated change of location

Rehearsals for rising 2024-25 7th and 8th grade RNR students will be on

5/29, 5/30, 6/3, 6/4, 6/5, and 6/6/24.

New Information: The summer band practices will take place at the Kingsport Civic Auditorium, 1550 Fort Henry Drive. We will use the west side entrance to come and go. This is the entrance that is commonly used for early voting, and is the side of the building that faces the fire station. Look for the blue RNR BAND sign near the west side door.

We ask for RNR Band members and families to consider these dates when making plans, to be available for attendance to the extent possible.

We will learn music for our fall performances, and it will be a lot of fun for all involved.

100 percent attendance at all summer band rehearsals will result in students earning 1 point toward the 2024-25 Robinson Band Outstanding Band Member Awards.

Students with small and medium size instruments will need to transport instruments to and from the practices each day. Students with the largest instruments will need to bring instruments on the first day, and take them back home on the last day.



Schedule:

May 29, 30, June 3, 4, 5 - Sectional Rehearsals

Brass 9:00am - 10:00am

Woodwind 10:15am - 11:15am

Percussion 11:30am - 12:30pm


June 6 - Full Band: Brass, Woodwinds, Percussion 9:00am - 10:30am
