KINGSPORT, Tenn. – David Frye, Kingsport City Schools Chief Finance Officer has been selected by the Tennessee Association of School Business Officials (TASBO) as the winner of its prestigious Outstanding Business Official Award. Each year, TASBO honors one exceptional member of the association who exemplifies the very best in school business management.

The award is presented in recognition of being one of the top school business officials in Tennessee and for serving as a leader and professional role model for all members of the profession.

"We are excited to celebrate Mr. Frye for this esteemed recognition," said Kingsport City Schools Superintendent Dr. Chris Hampton.
