Congratulations to the boys' and girls' cross country teams on their 3rd place finishes at the sectional meet on Tuesday.  Each team has qualified for the state meet in Clarksville, TN on October 7th.  Top Ten finishers for the girls were Ashlyn Kirk in 8th place, Rae Evans in 9th place, and Emma Baker in 10th place.  Top Ten finishers for the boys were Jack Allen in 3rd place and Hayden Lipford in 7th place.

Girls state team members include: Ashlyn Kirk, Rae Evans, Emma Baker, Madeline Lyons, Megan Jessee, Caroline Caveness, and Olivia Perkins-Henson.  Boys state team members include:  Jack Allen, Hayden Lipford, Alden Mays, Ethan Wellman, Joseph Smith, Rocky Jackson, Aaron Vaughn, and Ben Painter.  Way to go Running Redskins!
